About the Role
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils, working closely with teachers and other support staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individual and small group support to pupils with a range of learning needs
- Assisting teachers with the delivery of lessons and activities
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with their personal care and well-being
- Maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to teachers
- Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive and proactive attitude
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Experience working with children with SEN (desirable)
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
