HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER
PERMANENT ROLE – 4 ON 4 OFF NIGHTS – £33,427.91 PER ANNUM
Class 1 Factory Clearance Drivers are needed as part of our general haulage supply chain for our British Salt contract based out of Middlewich.- 33,427.91 per annum
- Start times between 16:00 - 20:00
- 12 hours shifts
- 42.46 hours per week
- Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off
- Nights
- £18.93 per hour overtime paid after 184 hours worked per month
- £20.55 - 6th shift non scheduled
- £25.42 - 7th shift non scheduled
- £1.40 per our night premium
- 20.5 days holiday including bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for running from the warehouse to the production site.
- Loading up products that have been produced and return to the warehouse.
- Responsible for clearing up the factory of produced stock as well as collecting and delivering.
- Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products.
- Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
- Securing the load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Be aware of the vehicle defects and bring them to the attention of the Transport Office as necessary.
- Attend essential training in order to carry out the Driver role.
- The requirement to complete updates and daily tasks utilising the provided interactive device (PDA).
What will you bring to the team:
- Must have valid in date Class 1 licence
- Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
- Must hold Digital Tachograph card
- Must not have more than 6 points on licence
- Must have minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
- Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
- Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
- Must have a good geographical knowledge
