We are pleased to announce this exciting opportunity to recruit one full time Junior Doctor ST1/2 (equivalent to CT1/2 level) position to join Head and Neck Surgical specialties. The post is expected to start August 2025 on a contract 12-month contract with a possibility of extending.

Main duties of the job

Advertised as Trust Junior Doctor ST1/2 posts for Head & Neck; we would consider applicants wishing to carry out more specific roles in either Maxillofacial Surgery or ENT Surgery depending on individual interest and training needs.

The post holder will provide care for both Head and Neck, Maxillofacial and ENT patients. The Rota allows the post holder to have the opportunity to gain significant Head and Neck Cancer experience including reconstructive free flap surgery (around eight major cases performed per month), facial trauma and aesthetic facial surgery.

Applicants will also be encouraged to participate in the extensive teaching, research, audit and service improvement within UCL collaboration projects around individual development requirements and the need of the service.

The on-call Rota is a full shift system to cover the Maxillofacial and ENT admissions. All eight Trust junior doctors to participate in the shift system.
