This will involve booking of patient appointments, explanation of procedures, cannulation and injecting of patients, administration of oral, intravenous and inhaled radiopharmaceuticals, as well as operation of the gamma cameras and PET/CT scanner.
To provide both qualitative and quantitative results to agreed standards. To ensure that all data analysis, hard copy production and archiving is performed in a timely, consistent and accurate manner. To comply with written systems of work. To ensure statutory and Trust standards for record keeping are adhered to.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients and visitors within the department. To adhere to the local rules relating to radiation protection. To ensure that statutory Departmental and Trust requirements for record keeping are met. Professional To maintain a high standard of patient care through good clinical practices.
To maintain patient dignity and privacy and respond to patient needs accordingly To offer support and assistance to colleagues when required To maintain current ensure correct identification of patients To maintain up to date with current imaging trends through CPD To ensure statutory and Trust standards for record keeping are adhered to.

To participate in, support and ensure continuing familiarisation with departmental Quality Assurance programmes
