Abbotsfield Care Home is a converted older property which is set in beautifully maintained and mature gardens. The home provides a perfect setting for those who wish to enjoy life in comfortable and secure surroundings whilst being only a short drive from the town centre.

We offer 26 standard bedroom.

Parking is available at the front of the home.

We are currently seeking a Care Assistant with a compassionate heart and a drive for excellence to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal within our structure, ensuring the seamless delivery of Care and Support Plans to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care and personal assistance to residents, enhancing their comfort and quality of life.
  • Offer support and assistance to residents during the day.
  • Prepare and serve meals; perform personal care activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and communal areas; manage laundry.
  • Ensure a safe living environment, adhering to safety protocols and reporting potential hazards.
  • Administer medications as required, under appropriate supervision.

Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Day Care Assistant who is passionate about providing personal care and making a difference in the lives of others.

The ideal candidate should be able to make informed decisions, respond effectively to the needs of our residents, and possess a keen interest in learning more about the healthcare industry. A strong work ethic, a love for helping others, and a desire to contribute positively to our care home community are essential.

Hours of Work
5 hours shifts
17:00 – 22:00 on a Four On Four Off rolling roster

Pay: £11.44 per hour
