Deployteq is seeking a highly motivated, Senior Account Executive to lead commercial growth in the UK market. This role is a blend of proactive new business development and following up on qualified leads generated by our Demand Generation team.

The successful candidate will own the UK sales pipeline, nurture relationships, and manage the full sales cycle from initial interest to contract signature. This role is ideal for a native UK professional with solid experience in marketing automation sales and a strong understanding of the UK market.

Candidates can be based in the UK or the Netherlands, provided they are willing to travel regularly to the UK.

Deployteq is part of the award-winning ITG group (#1 in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce in the MT1000), collaborating with high-profile clients like VodafoneZiggo, Transavia, McDonalds, and Eneco. You will work closely with international teams to accelerate our UK growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and convert qualified leads generated by the Demand Generation team
  • Proactively source and engage new enterprise prospects across the UK
  • Own the entire sales cycle, including demos, negotiations, and closing deals
  • Develop and execute the UK sales strategy, including pipeline forecasting and reporting
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and consultative sales presentations
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to maximize client value
  • Stay informed on mar-tech industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Support the onboarding and mentorship of junior sales team members as the UK team grows
Requirements
  • Native English speaker with strong knowledge of the UK market
  • Based in the UK or the Netherlands, with willingness to travel frequently to the UK
  • Demonstrable B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in marketing automation, CRM, or digital marketing
  • Proven track record in both outbound prospecting and managing inbound leads with long consultative sales cycles (3–6+ months)
  • Established network within UK marketing agencies or enterprise marketing teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic and commercially savvy, with a proactive, hunter-closer mentality
  • Resilient, curious, and customer-focused with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience
  • Tech- and marketing-savvy, or strong willingness to learn
