Applications are invited for three posts of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+/Snr) in Gastroenterology, Nutrition, Intestinal Rehabilitation and Intestinal Transplant at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

These posts are available for 6 months initially with the possibility of further extension depending on service requirement.
  • Post 1 & 2 – from 03 September 2025 (6-12 months)
  • Post 3 – from 08 October 2025 (6 - 12 months)

The Cambridge Centre for Intestinal Rehabilitation and Transplant team combine knowledge and expertise of intestinal rehabilitation and intestinal and multivisceral transplantation across the Transplant and Digestive Disease Directorates at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide quality care for patients with intestinal failure, complex surgical and vascular problems and who are undergoing intestinal and multivisceral transplantation. The postholder will be supported by a team of Gastroenterologists, Transplant and Intestinal Failure Surgeons, Specialist Nurses, Coordinators, Psychologist and associated Junior Doctors.

There will be opportunities for experience in other areas of Transplantation or Gastroenterology, as well as research opportunities.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.

Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
