Location: Bilston, Wolverhampton WV14

Job purpose:

To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:

A male living in Bilston WV14 is looking to recruit a male Personal Assistant to provide support with accessing the local community and attending activities of his choice.

Main duties: Social duties

keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
attend medical appointments if required
do hobbies such as fishing
attend social events such as Football matches
support to go shopping and out for lunch

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Hours of work: 10.5 hours per week – Times and days to be discussed with employer.

Rate of pay: £12.30 per hour

Essential:

driving licence
car and appropriate insurance
previous care & support experience
likes football
likes fishing
good at building relationships

Preferred:

good communicator
a good listener
ability to support people with complex care needs.

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
