Job Title: SEN Tutor Location:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

£20 - £30 per hour
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create and implement tailored learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Assist students in developing academic and social skills
  • Monitor and track progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Minimum of a relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience working with SEN students
  • Knowledge of SEN educational strategies and interventions
  • Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Patience and empathy in working with students with diverse needs
  • Additional certifications in Special Education or SEN support
  • Experience in working within a school or educational setting

Work is primarily conducted in a classroom or educational setting. May involve some travel to student homes or other locations. Part-time hours, with flexibility required to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
