About the IT Department:

The IT department is dedicated to providing excellent IT support and customer service to both our schools and Head Office staff. The Regional IT team will lead academy IT teams, ensuring a customer-focused IT service, while interfacing with the central IT Team to resolve technical issues, support central IT projects, manage budgets, key systems, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The IT department contributes to Trust-wide IT projects, such as network migration for academies joining the Trust’s central infrastructure, the ongoing expansion of the Trust’s Office 365 platform, and other central systems.

About You:

As a Regional IT Manager at Creative Education Trust, you will bring your expertise in IT support, project management, and leadership to ensure seamless IT operations, foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, and drive the successful implementation of Trust-wide IT initiatives. Our ideal candidate would:

  • Have excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, resolve, and document workarounds for technology-related issues.
  • Be proactive, self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

To apply for the Regional IT Manager opportunity, you must hold:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Service Management (such as ITIL or FITS) or relevant experience.
  • Experience in managing IT budgets, projects, and contractors, along with a strong background in network/IT support roles and IT service desk management.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Server and desktop Operating Systems, experience managing service requests using service desk systems, and a thorough understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and Active Directory, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
