Payroll Specialist - mostly remote

• Hourly Rate: £21-£27 per hour dependant on experience level
• Location: Hybrid/ Remote (occasional travel to the office)
• Job Type: Contract (3 months)

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for a 3-month contract. This role involves overseeing various payroll functions, including the completion of monthly returns for pensions and processing monthly payroll data. The candidate will have experience with iTrent and be comfortable preparing necessary spreadsheets.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee and verify the processing of monthly payroll data.
• Complete monthly returns for pensions.
• Ensure accurate first and second Gross to Net (GTN) calculations.
• Prepare and maintain necessary payroll-related spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with an external provider to ensure accurate and timely pay runs to HMRC.
• Address and resolve any payroll-related queries or issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in payroll administration.
• Strong working knowledge of iTrent payroll system.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
