The opportunity:

• This boutique law firm with offices across South Devon is expanding its conveyancing team
• Join forces with an experienced fee earner
• Working within this small practice you will quickly become an invaluable member of the team
• Increase your experience with a view to becoming a fee earner in the future if you wish
• Excellent salary depending on experience

• Assist the Fee Earner with all conveyancing matters
• Liaise with clients, colleagues, estate agents, other solicitors
• Onboard new clients, open files & complete compliance checks
• Conduct property searches
• Draft post completion paperwork & Land Registry registrations
• The caseload is broad to include sales & purchase files of freehold & leasehold, new build and shared ownership properties
• Advise on help to buy, remortgages and equity release transactions
• Build on your experience every day, taking on more & more responsibility as you progress

• Ideally at least 1 years’ experience as a residential conveyancing paralegal or legal assistant
• Residential Property law experience
• Ideally to be able to hit the ground running
• Candidates with a strong estate agent background are encouraged to apply
