Overview:
A lovely family based in Notting Hill is looking for an experienced live-in housekeeper to join them. This is a full-time role, preferably from Tuesday through Saturday each week, with flexibility for extra hours/days as needed. The usual schedule will be 9am-7.30pm, although things may change when the family have guests.Accommodation is provided in a separate self-contained studio apartment with one bedroom, ensuite, and kitchenette.
Responsibilities:
All general housekeeping tasks including:
- Cleaning of the five-bedroom, four-storey home
- Mopping and vacuuming
- Laundry and ironing for the whole family
- Tidying
- Deep cleaning when necessary
- Walking the dog
- General errands
- Some cooking for the family (candidates should be comfortable following recipes)
Requirements:
Candidates should:
- Be fit and active, capable of managing a large home over several flights of stairs.
- Have strong organisational skills
- Be positive and friendly with a can-do attitude
- Should demonstrate initiative and be happy to self-direct
