Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Caterpillar, Peterlee, Durham, SR8 2HXYou will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front of house.

- This is a part time position, 16 hours per week, Monday
- Friday. Shifts range between 9am
- 2pm, leaving your evenings and weekends free

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:
- Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
- Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Stocking up and putting away deliveries
- General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- A positive 'can do' attitude and a great team player.
