Security Team Leader - Guildford

Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Security Team Leader to join our Operations team!

In this role you will be reporting directly to the Security Operations Assistant Manager, ensuring the smooth running and safe operating of the Security Department on a daily basis, working to support and motivate a team of Security Guards. If you want to work in one of the parks most challenging environments, then this could be for you!

You will reflect the highest standard of safety, guest care, presentation and professionalism through effective leadership and team development. This role is also about focusing on staff retention and protection of assets at the Resort through role model behaviour, training and good knowledge of the resorts processes and procedures.

Working closely with the Security Team and other departments across the Resort, you will create, implement, and manage procedures to ensure a smoothly run operation, guaranteeing Health & Safety and guest experience are never compromised.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Over 18 years of age.
• An active, in date and maintain an SIA license (Door Supervisor Level 2).
• Great administrative skills, with experience in the use of Windows operating systems.
• Good interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to talk to all types of guests and staff.
• Leadership experience, with a wealth of Security experience.
• High level of motivation, both self and in a team, with excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to remain calm in high-pressure incidents, with the ability to prioritise tasks and handle a high workload.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including earlys, lates, nights, weekends and bank holidays to support the Resort operations.
