About Our Client

Our client is a well-established player in their market. They are based in Birmingham and have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and services to their clients.

• Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, and general ledger.
• Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
• Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures.
• Participate in budget and forecasts preparation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Proven experience in data manipulation
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• A team player mentality with strong communication skills.

• A competitive salary ranging between £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
