The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 ADHD Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a specific student with ADHD, supporting them in overcoming learning barriers, promoting engagement, and encouraging positive behaviours in the classroom.

Your support will be key to the child’s progress and well-being within the school setting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with ADHD or similar behavioural challenges is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of ADHD and its impact on learning and development.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • A positive and nurturing approach to supporting students with special educational needs.
  • An understanding of the Church of England ethos and a willingness to support the school's values.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
