About our group:

Springtown currently has approximately 500 equipment toolsets onsite, with a dedicated equipment and facilities team of 170 employees focused on sustaining the performance of the toolsets. The focus of this team is to develop a world class, flexible and engaged maintenance team, delivering improved factory performance and reliability.

Reporting to the Facilities Technician Manager, this challenging and exciting position gives the opportunity to work within a plant that supports leading edge semiconductor equipment. About the role - you will:

You will be working a rotating 12-hours shift pattern. This will include days and night working, (to include: - 4 days / nights on 4 days / nights off, 2 days / nights on 2 days/ nights off, 3 days / nights on 3 days / nights off, 2 days / nights on 2 days / nights off.

The rota will then repeat.

The role will involve you being a part of a small team on a rotating shift pattern having the responsibility of maintaining a safe working environment, providing immediate response and efficient resolutions to down-time situations on plant and equipment.

You will:

  • Complete preventative maintenance as scheduled on assigned equipment and plant.
  • Monitor plant to ensure operating within critical process parameters.
  • Fault-find and return plant and equipment from unplanned downs.
  • Maximise plant services equipment & utilities uptime.
  • Assist engineering on improvement projects to ensure process capability and reliability of plant to meet production process requirements.
  • Record detailed and accurate information on work performed via maintenance software in parallel with regular updates to the Facilities Technician Manager.
  • Be involved in cost effective repair of faulty components in-house.
  • Comply with health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Liaise and supervise contractors and service providers.
  • Be flexible to transfer to any other duties/shift considered necessary to meet the needs of the business.
  • Actively take part and support company business excellence initiatives

About you:

  • You will bring a strong technical profile with demonstrated relevant experience in Operations and Maintenance, fault-finding and diagnosis - we are flexible about the industry experience you bring.
  • You will have a minimum Level 3 mechanical/electrical qualification or recognised completed apprenticeship.

  • Experience in industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
