Care Paralegal – Leicester

Working within the Care team, you will assist with a variety of matters including adoption & fostering, child arrangement orders, child protection investigations and private family matters.

As a Paralegal in the Care team, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support, including case management tasks such as setting up files, conducting full conflict checks
- Coordinating with counsel & experts, obtaining cost quotes, timeframes and managing disbursements
- You will assist Fee Earners by completing and serving C2 applications, requisitioning cheques and handling court fee payments
- Overseeing DNA and drug and alcohol testing, including setup, monitoring and payments
- Support Solicitors with trial preparation, particularly bundle preparation and ensure proper file closure and attend court
- Serve as the administrator for the LAA online service, acting as the primary point of contact for all Local Authority and fee earner queries
