French Accounting Apprentice

Halliday Marx have partnered with an excellent accounting practice to recruit a French speaking Apprentice Accountant on a permanent basis.

4 days working and 1 study day per week.

• Monthly bookkeeping & payroll
• Acting as major point of contact for clients together with the Business Line Manager.
• Responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed
• Company incorporation and set up (including coordination of UK bank account opening, employment contracts, employee benefits)
• Building sustainable external and internal client relationships
• Performing Company Secretary duties for clients
• Use of Sage 50, QuickBooks Online or other cloud based solutions to maintain books and produce
• Trial balance, profit & loss, balance sheet and other reports
• Processing monthly payrolls including general payroll queries and related issues
• Preparation of HMRC related returns including monthly PAYE/NI submissions and quarterly VAT returns.
• Admin and any other ad-hoc duties as required.
