This role exerts a company-wide cross-functional influence and helps provide strategic leadership or vision to the whole organisation. The ServiceNow Engagement Senior Manager will utilize their functional expertise in the ServiceNow platform along with extensive delivery experience to lead the implementation of complex solutions for clients.This role is responsible for the overall success of ServiceNow projects, ensuring that all milestones are met within scope, time, and budget constraints while delivering value to clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations, and strong leadership skills to guide project teams and foster collaboration.
As a ServiceNow Engagement Senior Manager, you will:
- Lead the delivery of ServiceNow projects from discovery through to go-live, ensuring a structured and effective project lifecycle. Responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of client solutions using the ServiceNow platform. Oversee timeline, scope, resources, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and technical requirements. Communicate regularly with stakeholders at various levels, ensuring alignment on project goals, objectives, and success criteria. Act as the main point of contact for all client interactions.
- Manage the Agile delivery process by leading Scrum teams, facilitating sprint planning, and ensuring deliverables are met. Track project progress and address any challenges or roadblocks to ensure successful delivery within sprint cycles.
- Lead the business and technology teams to define and design solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring that the functional requirements are met. Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of ServiceNow modules in line with the project scope.
- Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep knowledge in Client Engagement Management.
- Identify potential project risks and issues, working with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies. Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that challenges are addressed promptly and project momentum is not hindered.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring that the project is delivered within financial constraints. Effectively allocate resources to meet project demands, ensuring that team members are fully utilized and project timelines are adhered to.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, ensuring that they have the support and guidance needed for success. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, aligning team members toward common goals and objectives.
- Provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders on project progress, risks, and successes. Ensure that project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met as agreed in the Statement of Work (SOW).
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage project schedules, allocate resources, and resolve conflicts to deliver successful outcomes. Experience managing both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies is highly desirable.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM), ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), and/or ITIL Foundation certification. Additional certifications in Agile, PMP, or similar are a plus.
- Strong functional knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its core modules (ITSM, ITOM, SPM, CSM, HRSD, etc.). Understanding of platform architecture, best practices for configuration and customization, and integration capabilities.
- Strong Pre-sales experience, ITSM, ITOM,SPM, HRSD, CRM experience would be advantageous (Tool or business process).
- Proven delivery experience in managing large-scale ServiceNow implementations or other enterprise-level IT solutions. At least 5+ years of experience in successfully delivering complex projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver presentations, create reports, and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
