Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our venue. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, crowd management, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor entrances and exits to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the venue to deter potential disturbances or unlawful activities.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the protection of property.
  • Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring that all health and safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage crowd control during busy periods, ensuring a smooth flow of patrons in and out of the venue.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required, maintaining clear communication at all times.
  • Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences that may require further investigation or action.
Skills
  • Strong surveillance skills with the ability to remain alert and attentive at all times.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
  • Experience in loss prevention techniques, with a focus on reducing theft and maintaining asset security.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with patrons and team members.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating composure in challenging situations.
  • A professional demeanour with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of security practices.
