Location: Birmingham

Salary from £25,200 per Annum (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Full time 37.5 per week

St Andrew’s Birmingham

Is a 118 bedded adult mental healthcare facility comprises of eight units that cover medium and low security for both Men and Women. Located in Stirchley, a vibrant area in South Birmingham, easily accessible by road networks and public transport.We provide safe, effective, patient-centred care in line with national standards set by the Quality Network for Forensic Mental Health Services, essential standards from the CQC, and best practice guidance relevant to secure care from the National Institute of Health and Social Care Excellence (NICE).

Your role with us

Joining our friendly social work team, you will be responsible to the Lead Social Worker and supervised by a Qualified Social Worker within the team. You will hold a suitable Health and Social Care qualification or relevant experience within the Social Care setting, along with GSCE or equivalent award.

There is an expectation that the post holder will seek to develop their skills in the specialist area. Regular supervision is provided and opportunities for development in both social work and other related practice issues are provided and encouraged.
