Cover Supervisor
Cover Supervisor - HCC Grade C
£18,806 to £19,854 (FTE £24,405 - £25,430)
8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday - 32.5 hours pw
Term time plus 1 week
We are seeking a motivated person to join our Cover Team. Cover Supervisors are responsible for the management of classes when the regular teacher is absent, ensuring that learning is taking place and all students are making progress. When cover is not required, Cover Supervisors support in a range of other activities such as development of teaching resources in individual curriculum areas, or assisting on school trips.
Working as a Cover Supervisor can be an excellent route into teaching and getting you used to the classroom environment. We welcome anyone who is interested in becoming a teacher either as a first career or a career change, although all applications are welcome.
You should possess a calm, confident and assertive manner and the ability to relate well to young people to support learning.
