Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a Bristol-based organisation to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. The main purpose of this role is to ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices, prompt payments, and efficient follow-up and issue resolution.
Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Clerk will include, but not limited to:
- Processing invoices and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Review and correct payment proposals.
- Generate self-billing reports.
- Monitor credit notes and update logs.
- Assisting with month-end closing processes.
- Resolve internal/external claims and handle 2nd level AP queries.
- Maintain supplier relationships and contribute to process improvements.
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will require the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in SAP-S/4 Financial Applications and computer tools.
- Ability to support process improvement.
