Nursery Manager (Maternity Cover)

As part of the management team, you’ll lead an experienced and accomplished team of educators using your existing skills, experience and passion for child-led learning. You will follow children’s interests and scaffold their learning in extraordinary and enabling environments for play-based learning

You will provide the highest standards of childcare and education in line with our Ofsted graded Outstanding practice, including the monitoring and review of provision. Providing a safe, caring environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of children.

You will thrive on motivating, leading by example, role modelling and inspiring your friendly team of educators to help them to grow within their roles, as they support you in turn as a leader.

This position is for maternity cover for our current Nursery Manager beginning in June 2025. (If you become a valued member of the team and you wish to stay on after this contract ends, we will of course try our best to offer an alternative position if the current staffing ratios allows, as we truly value good educators).

The right candidate will need to have at least a level 3 in childcare, have past experience within the Early Years sector and have management experience.
