Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children in Need (CIN) of Support & Protection team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people within the community.You will work collaboratively with families, children, and various agencies to assess needs, develop intervention plans, and ensure necessary support is provided. Your expertise will be vital in conducting assessments of family situations and identifying interventions that can facilitate positive outcomes.
You will manage a caseload of vulnerable children, ensuring that their needs are met through effective case management and support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child protection legislation and best practices in social work, along with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with families and stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments of children and families to determine support needs.
Develop and implement care plans that promote the welfare and safety of children.
Work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide necessary support.
Monitor and review progress on cases, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to case discussions and planning.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and complies with policy and statutory requirements.
Provide emotional and practical support to families undergoing challenging circumstances.
RequirementsA recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work).
Registered with the appropriate Social Work regulatory body.
Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working with children in need.
Strong understanding of current child protection legislation and best practice guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across various agencies.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £27.00
Location: North London, London
