Technology Procurement Specialist - £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of London’s most successful and friendly Legal Firms, as part of the overall procurement team, specialising in IT Contracts and Procurement.
This is a key role within the procurement team, working 100% with the IT category. Typical duties will include: -
They are after an IT Procurement Specialist, an experienced professional to take on a varied and rewarding role, Leading on procurement projects for new Technology, managing the renewals for IT software & hardware maintenance agreements to ensure they continue to provide sufficient value, conduct supplier negotiations and support in the development and implementation of procurement strategy plans and ensuring Projects within the team are delivered within time, budget and functionality.
Your responsibilities will also include managing contracts, conducting supplier performance reviews and being a crucial figure in positioning procurement more strategically within the Firm. The firm need someone to have more of a strategic vision when it comes to renewal planning and someone who has had experience in looking through legal T&Cs and comfortable in doing so.With this role, the firm needs someone who can align things from an IT/ technical perspective looking at suppliers, contracts and costs that can come in and organise/ tidy ‘category management’.

To apply you will have the following skills and experience: -
You will have a background in procurement of say 3-5 years and has demonstrated a transition into IT procurement for a few of these years or always been in IT procurement. Ideally legal or professional services experience but the firm is open-minded on this.Understanding and experience negotiating SaaS contracts and other IT related commercial terms such as hardware maintenance and telephony and communications. Degree education / CIPS procurement qualification is preferred however not essential.
