Job Opportunity: Part-Time Prescribing Nurse Practitioner (GP Surgery) We are seeking a part time Prescribing Nurse Practitioner to join our team at St Andrews Surgery, working 2-3 days per week. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work alongside both our GPs and nursing team, contributing to the delivery of urgent care to our patients.

If you are passionate about making a difference in patients lives and want to be part of a supportive and dynamic team, wed love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Provide urgent care services in collaboration with GPs and nurses. Prescribe medications in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Provide advanced, specialist nursing care to patients as required, following clinical evidence, NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines, and the National Service Framework (NSF). Provide chronic disease clinics in Asthma or Diabetes, delivering patient care as necessary, and refer patients to secondary/specialist care as required.
This is desired, but not essential to the role. Request pathology services as necessary. Process and interpret pathology and other test results as required. Ensure care is delivered in line with QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) expectations.

Qualifications: Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber on the NMC register. Minor Illness Qualification. Schedule: 2 3 days a week with flexible working days, but Wednesdays are required as part of the schedule.
