Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Set up and manage Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules
Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Maintain knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems
Prioritize issues based on urgency and operational needs
Establish and manage a critical spares list, including supplier databases
Communicate effectively at all levels to report on machinery status and maintenance activities
Solid experience in setting up PPM schedules and fault finding
Excellent knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Strong ability to prioritize multiple issues effectively
Ability to develop and maintain a critical spares list and supplier database
Exceptional communication skills across all levels
Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Experience in budgetary control for maintenance activities
Relevant certifications (IOSHH, NEBOSH, First Aid, FLT, Fire Marshal, etc.)

Company: Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background? Do you have hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment? If so, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance support to ensure the efficient running of machinery and equipmentSet up and manage Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules
Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Maintain knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems
Prioritize issues based on urgency and operational needs
Establish and manage a critical spares list, including supplier databases
Communicate effectively at all levels to report on machinery status and maintenance activities
Some flexibility in working hours may be required
Essential Criteria:
Electrically biased with a strong technical understandingSolid experience in setting up PPM schedules and fault finding
Excellent knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Strong ability to prioritize multiple issues effectively
Ability to develop and maintain a critical spares list and supplier database
Exceptional communication skills across all levels
Flexibility with working hours when needed
Desired Criteria:
Knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and toolsFamiliarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Experience in budgetary control for maintenance activities
Relevant certifications (IOSHH, NEBOSH, First Aid, FLT, Fire Marshal, etc.)
Welding skills would be a bonus
Working Hours:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to FridaySome flexibility required based on operational needs
Salary:
£19.23 p/h dep on level of experience
