Location: Tollgate Depot, SalisburySalary: £29,093 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, 5 out of 7 day rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for one someone to join Salisbury City Council's Environmental Service team as a Streetscene Operations Supervisor. Do you have experience in maintenance and managing a team, have a passion to contribute to the community, by providing a service which improves the appearance of our City benefiting the lives of residents and visitors, if so, this position could be for you!

About the role:
- To oversee the operational management of the Streetscene team, delivering a high standard service.
- To effectively manage the Salisbury City Council Depot alongside the Grounds Supervisor.
- Ensure the effective ongoing maintenance and replacement of Council vehicles, plant and equipment
- Oversee compliance with the legislative and best practice requirements of waste control systems.
About you:
- Experienced in depot and mechanical equipment/vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Have a proven track record of team management and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in accurate asset information.
- Must enjoy a job that involves office work and working in all weather conditions.
- Waste Management & Transfer knowledge, either holder of or a willingness to complete CIWM (WAMITAB) Waste Management Level 4 Certification within 12 months of employment.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety, able to review and write risk assessments for Streetsceme operations.
- Full UK Driving License
