This is a pivotal moment to join Challengers as we embark on a new strategic journey, aiming to reach 1,000 families and deliver 100,000 hours of life-changing services for disabled children and young people.You will work closely with various stakeholders, including trustees, parents, carers, auditors, and statutory funders.

Your leadership and expertise will help drive our financial strategy as we work to expand our reach and impact.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day finance operations and provide strategic financial insightPrepare annual accounts, manage audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support the organisation's growthManage IT infrastructure, ensuring robust data security and GDPR complianceLead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellenceAbout You:You are a qualified accountant with at least three years of experience in a senior financial roleYou bring strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and preparing annual accountsYou are a seasoned leader with proven experience in managing small teams and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholdersYou possess excellent skills in financial modelling and database management, particularly in MS ExcelYou have experience in managing IT infrastructure and ensuring compliance with data security protocols, including GDPRYou are passionate about the not-for-profit sector and have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by disabled children and their familiesOther Job Details:Location: Guildford or Farnham office, with flexible remote working optionsSalary: £47,000
