Overview:
The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a Service Lead – Contracts and Commissioning Manager to Support the Head of Environmental Operations in the management of contracts across the Place Directorate. The post holder will produce periodic progress and performance reports in line with key performance indicators for internal and external audiences, including senior managers, Members, residents and third-party providers.The successful candidate will influence over a £21,259,000 budget.
About you:
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working to tight timescales and deadlines on own initiative.
- Experienced in working with a range of stakeholders across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
- Experience obtained in a contract Management role that includes taking responsibility of managing a portfolio of contracts.
- Understanding of financial management processes and impact.
- Experience in carrying out benchmarking exercises and performance reviews against key performance indicators.
- Educated to Advanced Level, or having relevant substantial experience.
- Demonstration of continuing professional development in Contract Management and/or Procurement.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, face to face, on the telephone and in writing.
