Job Description: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore scientific concepts and develop critical thinking skills.Your passion for science and innovative teaching methods will help students achieve academic success and develop a lifelong interest in the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Science or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
