The City of Edinburgh Council is looking for a Fleet Compliance Technical Assistant to join our busy Fleet Management team. Reporting to the Fleet Compliance Team Leader, you will work within the Fleet Compliance Team assisting in the processing of data and information relevant to maintaining accurate records associated with the ongoing management of our fleet vehicles and operational staff.

This includes; maintaining and updating driving licence records, issuing of driver permits, maintaining vehicle safety inspection files, issuing of fuel fobs and maintaining accuracy of the vehicle and plant asset fleet management system. This is a key supporting role for our Fleet Compliance operation to ensure the fleet is fully managed to schedule under our Operators licence requirements.

The salary package is enhanced by a minimum of 32 days leave per year rising to a maximum of 40 days per year dependant on continuous service, generous employer pension contributions and numerous employee benefits, such as Green Car scheme, Cycle to work, Lifestyle savings and Gym membership.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
