Our client is a prominent public sector organisation based in London.
Job Description
The key duties for this role are as followed:
- Assisting with financial data entry and management.
- Handling and processing invoices, receipts and payments.
- Carrying out administrative duties related to the finance department.
- Supporting the Accounting & Finance department in budget preparation.
- Helping with financial report preparation.
- Ensuring financial records are kept up to date with latest transactions and changes.
- Supporting the team during the annual audit process.
- Assisting with other finance-related tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
