If you’re a Scottish Qualified Real Estate Lawyer with four years’ PQE or more and enjoy working on high‑value investment and development projects, this is an opportunity to join a busy Real Estate team advising on major transactions across a range of sectors.Based in Glasgow, the role offers exposure to significant Scottish and cross‑border work, with a client base that includes UK and international investors, funds and institutions.
This position would suit an Associate or Senior Associate looking for variety, responsibility and the chance to work on some genuinely interesting real estate projects.

The role
You’ll advise on a wide range of real estate matters, including acquisitions and disposals for investors, funds and institutions, as well as ongoing asset management work such as lettings and lease variations. The role also includes advising on retail and shopping centre transactions, large commercial property deals and student accommodation projects across Scotland.
You’ll support corporate transactions on the Scottish real estate elements, act for lenders on high‑value financings and collaborate with Lawyers in other jurisdictions on cross‑border portfolios. There’s scope to manage your own transactions while working closely with colleagues on larger or multi‑party deals.
About you
This role would suit a Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate who:
- Has 4+ years’ PQE in Scottish real estate
- Has experience with title review, leases and negotiating sale and purchase contracts
- Has worked across office, industrial and retail property matters
- Is comfortable managing deadlines and handling multiple transactions
- Takes a commercial, pragmatic approach to client matters
- Enjoys working collaboratively and supporting junior colleagues
- Has an interest in building client relationships and contributing to business development
