Job Advert Location Description
Conquest House is located in the village of Farcet, Peterborough. The home offers residential support for 15 males and females who have a primary learning disability diagnosis, who may also be on the autism spectrum. We are in a semi-rural location, set in large country grounds.
Our dedicated team are passionate about helping the people we care for to lead lives that are as independent as possible. We want to provide our residents with the highest quality support enabling them to build on their skills, live more independently, and reach their goals.
We can also support those who have:
- Difficulties with communication
- Mild to moderate behaviour that may challenge
- Epilepsy
Job Advert Role Description
As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible.Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.
