Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Planning: Assess the mental health needs of children and young people referred to CAMHS and develop tailored care plans.Collaboration: Work with families, CAMHS professionals, and other agencies to ensure holistic care and access to suitable services.
Safeguarding: Promote the well-being of patients in accordance with National Occupational Standards.
Care Management: Handle your own caseload, including conducting home visits and attending case conferences or reviews as needed.
Multi-Agency Work: Advise on and coordinate services for children, especially those transitioning to adult mental health services.
Professional Development: Engage in continuing professional development, using evidence-based practices and research to inform care.
Specialist Knowledge: Develop and apply expertise in working with children and families to assess, monitor, and meet complex health needs effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified Band 6 CAMHS Nurse with a valid NMC registration.Strong understanding of mental health needs in children and families.
Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
