A lovely family is seeking an after-school nanny to care for their school-aged child. This role involves all general nanny duties, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 7 pm, plus two evenings per week extending later. Weekend babysitting availability is also required.
Supporting with homework and educational activities
Preparing and serving nutritious snacks and meals
Engaging the child in age-appropriate and stimulating activities
Maintaining a clean, organised, and tidy play area
Managing behavioural challenges with consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and firm yet fair guidance
Salary: £16 to £20 gross per hour (Ideally self-employed)
The ideal candidate will have experience managing behavioural challenges, establishing consistent routines, and creating a structured yet nurturing environment. Being pet-friendly is essential, as the family has two cats. A valid first aid qualification is required.
Working hours: Monday to Friday | Core hours: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (twice per week the nanny will finish late in the evening) + Babysitting during the weekends
