Lead Change and Release Manager
Lead Change and Release Manager required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 23 month FTC, paying £49,000 - £56,500 per annum, hybrid working.
Job Description
As the Lead Change and Release Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the change and release processes within the organisation. You will ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently, minimising disruption to business operations.Your role will involve coordinating with various teams, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the change and release management processes.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan, schedule, and execute changes.
Ensure that changes are implemented with minimal disruption to business operations.
Identify and manage risks associated with changes and releases.
Develop and maintain change and release management policies and procedures.
Monitor and report on the progress of changes and releases.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Provide training and support to team members on change and release management processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in change and release management.
Strong understanding of ITIL and other industry standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with change management tools and software.
