Job overview

We have a fabulous opportunity for a part time Team Administrator, within our friendly Derbyshire Eating Disorders Service.

We are looking for a Team Administrator to provide immediate administrative support to the multi-disciplinary therapeutic eating disorders team, who use the base in Belper and remote support to our wider teams to help us to ensure the smooth running of our service across Derby City and Derbyshire County.

Our teams provide assessment, treatment and care for patients who experience primary eating disorders, as well as support to their carers. None of this can be done effectively without effective administration and support.

The successful candidate would join a small, supportive team of Administrators.

Main duties of the job

The role of Team Administrator is a challenging and varied post, supporting the day to day running of Derbyshire Eating Disorders Service.

You will work in a small team of administrators as part of the Derbyshire Eating Disorders Service. As the Team Administrator, there are responsibilities for the prioritisation and coordination of work with other members of staff.

Work will include answering telephone calls and emails, which could be from professionals, service users, carers, staff members, and other supporting agencies. Telephone calls must be passed on to the appropriate person, whilst also supporting the caller, who may be distressed or frustrated.

Support is provided to the team which includes letters, other correspondence and general admin duties.

Use of the Electronic Patient Record is key to the role, where referrals are inputted, paperwork is uploaded, and letters and reports are created.

The Team Administrator also supports clinical and operational meetings, such as multi-disciplinary meetings, business meetings and/or profession-specific meetings.

Team Administrators are responsible for inventory management and helping maintain onsite facilities.
