There couldn’t be a more exciting time to join Strode College, leading the Careers, Industry Placement and Work Experience team.
You will be part of the Student Services Team, ensuring that students have access to great Careers Education, Advice and Guidance. Working across the College, and with your team, you will lead on activity that prepares students for their next steps so that they can achieve their career goals.An important part of this is ensuring that students participate in safe and valuable Industry Placements (for T-Level students) and Work Experience. You will have a positive impact on the futures of our students, throughout their college journey and beyond.
Strode College is a good college, and we are on a journey to outstanding. This is a pivotal role, working alongside the wider student services team to provide a seamless service that supports students to achieve great things.
You will have a great understanding of the landscape of Careers in education (e.g., Gatsby Benchmarks) and a strong knowledge of guidance relating to T Level Placements and Work Experience. You will be confident supporting the team to deliver, measuring the impact of activity, and ensuring that every student has an amazing experience.

Contractual Details
Rate of Pay or Salary: £26,942 - £28,737 per annumWorking Time: 37 hours a week Monday to Friday all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent
Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme
Leave entitlement: 29 days per year plus bank holidays and additional discretionary days of leave at Christmas
