We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role is ideal for someone who can engage students of all abilities and foster a love for music.
About the Role
As a Music Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages
- Inspire students through practical and theory-based learning
- Teach a range of musical skills, including performance and composition
- Encourage creativity and participation in music activities
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or performances
- Experience teaching music in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
- Excellent classroom management skills
