Job Description- Prepare, analyse, and report monthly financial information, ensuring timely, accurate, complete, and compliant reporting.
- Manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a supportive and professional working environment.
- Ensure UK compliance with internal controls and maintain an appropriate risk management system covering all financial, legal, and tax implications.
- Ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Develop and implement financial control procedures.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Manage UK tax compliance and governance activities, including VAT and Corporation Tax liabilities.
- Liaise with the company's tax advisers and head office tax team. Develop processes for new legislation.
- Liaise with stakeholders to present financial information and reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support the company's strategic objectives through robust financial management.
- ACA, CA, ACCA OR CIMA qualified
- Practical experience in controlling/accounting/audit and IFRS/FRS 101
- Critical thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- SAP experience desirable
- Strong communicator
- High level of personal ownership and autonomy
- Prioritisation to ensure all key deadlines are met
