Your role:

Unique opportunity to join us, as the leading independent provider of water hygiene services across the UK. Your exciting new role will engage in managing a team of engineers, as well as completing pre-planned maintenance of water hygiene works for our clients across the North East in our field-based role.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for a team of PPM engineers
• Ensuring all reporting and KPI tasks are completed monthly
• Ensuring all engineers are completing work safely and in a timely manner
• Ensuring all PPM works are planned and liaising with coordinators as required
• Delivering a variety of water hygiene works such as cleaning and disinfecting showers and Calorifiers, and checking/cleaning water tanks and systems
• Delivering TMV checks and maintenance
• Completing all work on in house software using an iPad

Requirements

• Previous water hygiene or water treatment experience within legionella focused role
• Experience supervising a team of engineers in a previous role
• Prior experience working across various customer sectors, delivering high quality work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Qualified in City & Guilds Disinfection, Legionella Control or similar recognised and relevant courses in the industry
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS Check
• Right to work in the UK
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence

• Qualifications relating to PAT Testing or Ladder Inspections

Full UK, manual Driving Licence (You will be provided with a company van and business fuel card)

All roles at SMS require a DBS check; SMS Environmental will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.
