Location: Yorkshire-based, covering the Midlands
Salary: £38,000 base salary + excellent commission structure

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Business Manager to join our team, responsible for driving business growth within the Midlands region. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities within the Midlands region.
  • Account manage existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and the identification of upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs through effective pipeline management and relationship-building.
  • Maintain accurate records and update the CRM system regularly.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events, meetings, and conferences as required, to network and generate business leads.
  • Provide feedback and market intelligence to the management team to aid in product development and strategy.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong consultative sales experience, with a proven track record of developing new business and managing client relationships.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and manage accounts effectively.
  • Excellent CRM and computer skills for data tracking and reporting.
  • Previous knowledge of oil and lubricants is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and engage clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a positive attitude toward achieving targets.
  • Full driving license, as travel across the Midlands region will be required.
