A scaling IT Consultancy is seeking a driven and experienced Financial Controller to join their team part-time. As the sole-charge Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing their financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
Your new role- Manage the entire billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Monitor cash flow, forecast future trends, and implement strategies to optimise liquidity.
- Analyse expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to control costs effectively.
- Contribute to revenue growth by providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Developing and managing annual budgets, tracking performance against targets and making necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- IT Consultancy experience is essential.
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
- A solid understanding of financial principles and best practices.
