Teacher Apprentice (Maths, Computing, Biology and Chemistry)
The Teacher Apprenticeship is a school-based training programme. This pathway is completely free for the learner, as it is funded through the Apprenticeship Levy. This pathway will allow you to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Level 6 Teacher Apprenticeship Qualification in just 15 months.
During your apprenticeship, you will be employed at Stretford High School and receive a salary of at least £21,731 per year on the Unqualified Teacher Salary (UNQ1).
Apprentice teachers complete their practical training in 12 months. This is followed by a 3 month End Point Assessment (EPA). On completion of the EPA, the Level 6 Teacher Apprenticeship qualification can be awarded.
The programme prepares you for a lifelong career as a secondary teacher and specialist within your chosen subject, teaching up to GCSE level. Additionally, the provider offers post-16 enhancement to provide you with the skills to teach your subject at A Level, expanding your expertise and teaching opportunities.
The Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship is an ideal training pathway for individuals who hold a degree in any subject and are looking to become a qualified teacher.
