Legal Counsel (French-speaking)

Reporting to the Managing Counsel, key responsibilities will include:

• Review, revise, draft, coordinate and help negotiate documents for internal clients across global offices.
• Coordinate communication with and between firm's clients, internal stakeholders, in-house counsel, outside professionals and service providers.
• Assist with compliance and risk management matters coordinated by the Legal Team.
• Support internal teams with issues relating to human resources, employment matters and recruitment.
• Manage litigation matters and other general practice issues.
• Supporting consultants and the leadership team with matters relating to client engagements.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• UK and/or French-qualified lawyer with 2-5 years' PQE, gained from a reputable law firm or already in-house at a management consultancy or similar-paced business environment.
• Ideally professional working experience in both the UK and France.
• Must be fluent in English and French (ideally familiarity with using the language in a business context).
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent proofreading skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups at all levels.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines under tight time frames.
